True feelings: How would you feel if your parents boss daughter passed for a school you wanted to go to?

My mom boss daughter passed (passed as in "she did a test in march and at the ending time of june "today" the government would give out results in to what school according to the grade they get you'll go to that school" ) and she passed for one of my choices, i didn't go to any of my top choices, & i don't know how to feel.. if i should feel happy or not for her?. How would you feel?
