Question about Direct Deposit with Bank of America?

Hello, I applied for direct deposit with my boss like, two weeks ago and got my first check that was a direct deposit. I keep checking my bank account, and the money isn't there. I'm assuming it takes a bit of time to clear or something. But I'm still worried. I heard when applying for DD, you have to use BoA's own slips for it, but I used my boss's. And I also heard I won't get the money in my account 'til friday. (I got paid on Thursday) Do you guys think I'm OK, and it'll be in my account shortly? or I should be worried? Thanks.
